CANFIELD MIDDLE SCHOOL BANDS CALENDAR
2008 - 09

Friday,  October 3, 2008 - ALL 8th Grade Band members march and play with the  CHS Marching Pride.  Arrive at High School at 5:00PM.  Dress is concert uniform.  Students will need a lyre and flip folder.  These will be discussed in class and may be purchased at any local music store or in school.

Wednesday,  October 22,  2008 - Grades 6, 7/8 Concert Band, and 7/8 Symphonic Band Fall Concert.  7:00PM in CHS Gymnasium

Tuesday,  December 9,  2008 - Grades 5/6 Holiday Concert.  7:00PM HS Auditorium

Wednesday,  December 10,  2008 - Grades 7/8 Holiday Concert.  7:00PM HS Aud.

Saturday,  February 28,  2009 - Grades 5 - 12 Canfield Band Parent’s Annual Pasta   Dinner/Chinese Auction.  Times TBA

Saturday, March, 28,  2009 - Grades 7 & 8 Solo & Ensemble Contest, Struthers MS
 Details will be posted on the web and sent home.

Tuesday,  May 12,  2009 - Grades 5/6 Spring Concert 7:00PM HS Auditorium

Wednesday,  May 13,  2009 - Grades 7/8 Spring Concert 7:00PM HS Auditorium

Friday, May 15 OR Saturday, May 16,  2009 - Grades 7/8 Large Group Adjudicated Event at Liberty HS.  Times TBA

Monday,  May 25,  2009 - ALL 8th Grade Band Students march with the HS Band in the  Memorial Day Parade. Report to MS parking lot 9:30AM

ALL PERFORMANCES ARE MANDATORY AND CALCULATED INTO GRADE.

***Optional performances for 7th & 8th graders are pep band for one middle school football game and one middle school basketball game.  Details will be discussed in school.
