Mr. Wes Peters- Band Director

Mr. Peters is in his fourth year of teaching and in his third year as a band director. Mr. Peters previosly taught as an itinerant traveling music teacher in Duval County before coming to FMS in 2005.

Mr. Peters graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of North Florida in the Spring of 2004.

Mr. Peters' primary instrument is the Euphonium, which is a brass instrument that is in the Tuba family. Mr. Peters has been playing the Euphonium for over ten years and has studied privately with Ms. Gail Robertson at the University of Central Florida, Dr. Marc Dickman at the University of North Florida, and Mr. Paul Weikl at Florida Community College at Jacksonville.
