Welcome to the website of the Newton High School Bands. Newton is a city of about 20,000 residents and is located 25 miles north of Wichita, Kansas. Part of Newton Unified School District #373, NHS is a class 5A high school, with about 1,000 students in grades 9-12. We are known as the "Railers" (or "Railroaders"), reflecting our city's historical ties to the railroad industry.
