Sterling Bands

5th Grade Band 

5th Grade Band is growing at Campbell Elementary!  There were 60 students in 2008-2009!!!  What an exciting time to be in band. 

An informational letter will be sent to those students signed up for band later this summer. 

We will meet daily in small groups.  For example: 

10:20-10:45  Saxophone

10:45-11:10  Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Percussion

11:10-11:35  Flute, French Horn

11:35-12:00  Clarinet

Please make sure you read the band handbook.  We have two concerts, one in December and one in May.  Attendance at Concerts is Mandatory! 

Please practice as much as possible, as this is the key to success in Band.  Watch the DVD that came with your method book and practice playing along with the CD/CD-ROM.  The more you practice, the more fun you will have and the better you'll sound.
