SMS Jazz Band page

The SMS Jazz Band meets every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 7:00 - 7:50. 

The Jazz Band will perform at the scheduled concerts and may be asked to play at other venues througout the year.

Auditions will be held within the first two weeks of school this fall.  Typical jazz band instrumentation includes trumpets, trombones, saxophones, bass, piano, guitar, and drum set.  Students will receive one audition and must have a successful audition and be approved by the director to earn membership in the jazz band.
