Playing Tests
If a student does not pass a specific playing test they may always retake the test. Occasionally students need a little extra time to prepare for a test and use the retake provision. The end result of a playing test is the attainment of a skill and not necessarily a grade.
Learning and improvement can not, will not happen without at home reinforcement through practice. Students must practice!
Practice(How much)
Generally, students understand that desire alone can not magically turn you into a capable and polished instrumentalist. They realize that there is some practice required, but how much?
A minimum of 5 CONTINuOUS DAYS at 30 minutes per day will help a student improve their skills for this level of participation. Anything less can only help a student stay with the status quo. The key to success is continuous and consistent practice.
Commitment, dedication, and accomplishment through hard work are principles that never go out of style and lifetime attributes that will serve your child well.
