The Holiday Concert this year will feature the

WHS Concert Band. This concert is in conjunction with the Case Middle School Band and Choir.

Congratulations this fall to Mark Harrienger who was selected for All State Symphonic Band. Mark scored a perfect 100 on his NYSSMA Tuba Solo last spring was selected for All State based on that score. It is the highest state level goal any young musician can work towards.

We are so proud of you Mark!

This was also an amazing year for our students who were selected for Area All State! Area All State includes most of the northern region of New York. These students were selected based on their NYSSMA Solo scores from last April. Hundreds of applications came in and fourteen students from Watertown High School were selected.

Last, but not least...

Mark Anthony Taylor was recently selected for the Honor Band which will be held at the Band Directors Association (NYSBDA) Symposium in early March 2010. Another great honor for another hard working musician! Mark Anthony was selected based on his perfect score on his NYSSMA Solo.

Great effort Mark and congratulations on a job well done!
