Watertown High School

Concert Band and Freshman Band are a performance-based course designed to teach the basic fundamentals of wind and percussion playing, in addition to covering a wide array of musical aspects.   Concert and Freshman bands are open to any  instrumental musicians in grades 9 - 12,  as instrumentation allows.   Weekly lessons are required as well as evening concerts several times a year.

 The Watertown High School Wind Ensemble is comprised of the instrumental music program's most talented and dedicated musicians. The Wind Ensemble offers opportunities for the study of advanced high school and college-level literature.               

Individual preparation and home practice are essential as most parts are covered by only one player. Weekly lessons are required as well as many concerts  throughout the year.
